I’ve been thinking about the few official meetings I have participated in. I always wondered why the meetings were always heated and contentious. Then it hit me. We don’t have enough meetings and people want to be heard.
Our daily routines can be compared to a pressure cooker, steadily amassing tension and stress. Meetings serve as valuable outlets for releasing this pressure and providing individuals with a platform to express themselves. It’s hardly surprising that holding meetings only once or twice a year would inevitably lead to a cataclysmic explosion of built-up pressure and unaddressed concerns.
